Honeywell announced the launch of a state-of-the-art software-driven product development center in Atlanta. The project is expected to bring 800 jobs and $19M to the Midtown area over the next 5 years. Honeywell develops and manufactures technologies for energy, safety, security, and productivity. The company has been aggressively investing in the Internet of Things (IoT) and hopes to harness the software talent emerging from Georgia Tech.
