Fire Alarm System
Design & Installation
We are NICET certified in Fire Alarm System including applicable codes and standards, types of detectors and signaling systems, supervision requirements, power requirements, building/space structure and occupancy considerations, and basic electricity and electronics. If you have a new construction project, we can help you with the design and installation.
FIRE SAFETY TIP:
Don't overload extension cords or wall sockets. Just because an extension cord or
wall socket has room for several appliances does not mean it is safe or sensible to
plug in these appliances.
Different electrical items have different power requirements,
and plugging several power-intensive appliances in the same socket creates a real risk
of electrical home emergencies.
National Standards
In the United States, NFPA 72, The National Fire Alarm Code is an established and widely used installation standard. In addition, The NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) has additional requirements. We ensure that all of our fire systems comply with the highest industry standards so you can rest assured that your business is protected from fire damage.
Fire Inspections & Testing
According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, all fire protection systems are required to be inspected on an annual basis at minimum. It is important to check local fire codes to ensure that you are compliant with those standards. Some systems may require monthly or semi-annual inspections to ensure that these critical life-safety systems are functioning properly. If your fire system is due for inspection then contact Rottweiler Systems, Inc. so that we can help your business to stay safe and compliant.
Fire System Expansions and Upgrades
It is critical to make adjustments to your fire system when renovating or expanding your space. National and local standards have strict requirements on where fire system equipment is placed. Ensure that your project goes smoothly by contacting our NICET certified fire technicians before your project begins. We can walk through your system, identify additional equipment that may be needed, and execute your system's changes quickly and professionally.
