Watch how long it takes for them to respond taking note on how long it took for them to contact you. If it is more than a minute, you need to upgrade. If they do not contact you, you have issues.
The time you wait will be the time you will wait for every security breech, fire report or even distress alerts. That one minute (or more) is the time that you are in full danger and your safety is at jeopardy. If you were driving home from that store you went to 15 minutes ago and a home invasion just occurred, how would you know in the blind minutes before you arrive?
