America’s Missing Children, by Duke Smith

Unlike the mega security companies in the United States, Rottweiler Security has taken an active roll in the protection of our children within the home by interfacing existing technologies to newer more modern security systems.  Implementing working 120 vac smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, web enabled security systems that text or email critical data to parents and remote video monitoring of property activity, every thought extends beyond protection against home invasion or fire hazards to protecting the occupants of the home.

Over the last few weeks we have been implementing our platform that will interface to the Amber Alert reporting system, another first in the security industry.  During this time we have heard over and over again of the missing children in America.  We recognized that the mega security companies have little interest in the protection of children when it comes to security as it would effect their current business models profits.  As president of Rottweiler Security, I could not just sit back like the mega security companies have for years and watch as one child after another disappears or has stepped into tragic circumstances.

The most recent missing Florida 5 year old, Haleigh, the 7 year old Florida girl, Somer Thompson, later found in a Georgia landfill and the 3 missing teenagers in North Dakota which tragically were later found to have drowned.  In all three of these tragic stories, if someone could have been notified quick enough, the outcome may have been different.  All of these tragic reminders are solid indications that the old way of sending your child out of the home without a child protective GPS device is throwing caution to the wind.

When 800,000 children are reported missing each year, security companies have to step up, stop watching from the sidelines and be part of the solution.  Everyone needs to stop relying only on law authorities that are unprepared for such emergencies, especially when the technology has been available.  Rottweiler Security not only provides the needed child tracking device but also will play an active roll in proactively notifying authorities of child SOS notifications

Rottweiler Security believes that keeping our children protected by monitoring the threats that are inside, as well as outside the home, are critical if you would like to turn the tide of the 10% that will become drug addicts, alcoholics and become casualties due to unmonitored gun cabinets.
