Stolen Lawn Mowers, Boat Trailers and Farm Tractors Prevention, by Duke Smith

Recently here in Atlanta, Channel 11, aired a story of a homeowner who had their lawnmower stolen by a  thief during the daylight hours.  This is not as uncommon as you would think.  Lawn mower theft happens all over the country.  Reports from Dunn, NC, Iowa, Redmond, WA and Everglades City, FL are all just a few of the many examples found on the Internet that illustrate the ongoing issue of lawn mower theft.

There is a bigger issue than just lawnmowers.  Troybuilt tillers, farm tractors,  trailers  of all types and golf carts are all items that are stolen every day from unsuspecting owners.  Typically these are stolen at times when the owner of the item is not available to watch as the item is driven or hauled down the road.  If you are thinking that your local sheriff or police department is going to run down the road to apprehend the subject think again.  The probability that you will ever see again the stolen object is a 1 in 10 shot and the item may end up on eBay or in the case of horse trailers, even taken to a foreign country.  How do you stop a thief from this type of theft?

Rottweiler has many devices that can notify you and authorities of the theft of items like RV's, 4 wheelers, jet skies, boat trailers, lawn mowers, tractors and any object that you would like to secure when you are away.  Rottweiler Security is very serious in the prevention of this type of theft.  Our notification is sent with bursted cell monitoring technologythat will send you an email of the event as it is occurring and notify monitoring facilities of the event.  So rather than loose your boat or travel trailer connect it and prevent the loss to a Rottweiler Security system.

If you are a BACR member, you also receive discounts on the purchase of the Quick Connect/Disconnect contact and associated hardware necessary to prevent the theft of an item.  The cost to install this device is somewhat higher than your typical contacted devices but is well worth the investment prior to the loss of a personal item that has taken you years to acquire.
